Callaway

We spent the weekend in Callaway Gardens. It was a beautiful weekend, and provided some much needed rest. We loved walking in the gardens, listening to the organ in the chapel, looking for birds (Springer found 29 different species on Saturday), and eating delicious food!
I'm including pictures of the famous azaleas... they were beautiful... but give 'em a couple of weeks, and they'll be spectacular!
But when there are flowers... inevitably there will be BEES!

Yikes, there's another one swarming around my head...

Springer (the funny man) is now making fun of his poor wife...

What a great weekend!

He Loves Us

Found this song on a friend's Facebook page last night... and I've been singing it in my head all day long. It's rocking my world... oh how HE LOVES US!

We can't figure out how to download a video onto the blog... any pointers would be appreciated!

Enjoy!

We did it!

Hooray! We did it! Thanks for your prayers!

I gave a presentation at work today for the pharmacy staff, and I think it went pretty well. I actually had fun! And Springer got to come too... I feel very loved and supported!

So hopefully life will get a little more normal now... no more late nights staring at my PowerPoint slides... at least not for now.

More blogging to come... about topics other than pharmacy... imagine that!

Springer deserves an award.

It's been awhile since I've blogged... so far 2008 has been crazy! Mostly busyness at work... but hopefully things will slow down and get back to "normal" soon. I have a big presentation on Thursday... which brings me to my title.

My husband ROCKS... he just listened to me talk about drugs for an hour. He loves me, and he shows it to me everyday. I am so blessed. I love you, Springer!

(For those that may not know... I'm a pharmacist... that's why I was talking about drugs... don't want to give anybody the wrong impression.)

So please pray for me on Thursday. May Jesus be exalted and glorified in all things!

What a way to start the year...

Knowshon on his way to another touchdown...
Stafford showing Hawaii what a quarterback is made of...

Durham tearing up the field...

Defense gets fired up...

Ouch... that cannot feel good...

Oh, but this does... sweet victory!

Go DAWGS!

Darnell Family Christmas

=

We had a very fun weekend celebrating Christmas in Macon.

I laughed harder than I have in a long time...

especially when Springer opened his HUGE remote...
laughed so hard tears streamed down my face!
I love spending time with our family!
