31 days of thankfulness

I've gone back and forth trying to decide about jumping on the 31 day invitation from my long-time blogger favorite, the nester. What if I can't think of 31 things to write about? What if I get too busy? What if I don't finish? ... these concerns at the forefront of my brain.

But as a sort of "last hoorah" on the blog {because let's be honest, I've been a very inconsistent blogger} I've decided to join the fun and write on a subject dear to my heart.

thankfulness

Last December I decided 2012 would be a year in which I was more thankful. I wanted to verbalized my thanks to the people around me. I instituted what I called "Thankful Thursdays", in which I purposed to send a note of thanks each Thursday. {I think this lasted through April, when I ran out of my prestamped envelopes!}

This month I'll write about thankfulness for 31 days. If nothing else, my heart will be prepared for November and Thanksgiving!

Looking forward to the "Last Hurrah!" for the blog! :)

Consciously giving thanks is so lovely - think of where we'd be if more people sat down and truly thought about what they were most thankful for. How much better off we would all be!

Can't wait to see what you've come up with!!
