thankful for family, part 2

I loved growing up under the Darnells' roof. When I think about my sweet family, and in particular, my parents, two words come to mind.

 

affection

 

I'm so thankful for the way my parents showed their love to me and my siblings. I have never doubted their love and affection for us. What a gift!

sacrifice

 

I know it wasn't easy to take care of four little ones under one roof. I'm so thankful for the sacrifices my parents made along the way to care for us and provide for us. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for modeling to me and all of us godly leadership and Christlike servanthood. We love you!
