On Wednesday morning before work, I went swimming with my friend and workout buddy Emma at the Y. Whoa... swimming is not for wimps! (which is how I felt after like 1 lap) It was quite fun though, and I think we'll swim more often.
The BEST part though was on the other side of the pool. Picture if you will... three ladies in their 70's, with booeys (I'm not sure how to spell that word, but basically blue foam-things used for water aerobics) moving around in the water... WITH MATCHING ZEBRA-STRIPED SWIMSUITS!!!
It was absolutely amazing. They looked like they were having a blast, and I thought "When I am 70, I hope I have a zebra-striped swimsuit!"

I can see you, Annie, Big Kel, and Big Man sporting some Zebra suits in a pool one day. But I also imagine hot pink shower caps so as to prevent you blue-hairs from ruining your doos :)
Shut Up! That is seriously hilarious! I will be 70 before you so please buy me a zebra striped swimsuit for my 70th birthday. I promise to rock it in the pool with my friends.
I did that aqua aerobics class at the Y when I was pregnant with Zoe... with all the old ladies about 70, and I was the only young one!! ha ha.. twas a hoot!
LSD!! I am so happy to see you blogging. It is the funnest thing ever to me to keep up with everybody like this! Mark and I will be in Augusta this coming up weekend. We come in Thursday and will be around till Sun morning. We'd love to have you swing by my parents house if you're around!
By the way, I'd pay good money to see LARK in an aerobics class with 70 yr olds.
