Sweeney

On our blog list on the right, you'll find a blog called Sweeney. Mike Sweeney is on Young Life staff in Rome, Georgia. We are thinking and praying for him and his wife Cabell right now. I read their blog often. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His Word, just to rest upon His promise, Just to know "Thus saith the Lord", Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him, how I've proved Him o'er and o'er, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, Oh for grace to trust Him more. That song comes to mind as I read their blogs and sense complete trust in our Savior.

I read a quote from Sweeney today that has struck me...

Sweeney remarked, “We confuse joy and peace with happiness and being comfortable."

Yes, we do. I do.
